Our current path is not sustainable, and I love and believe in what Maine was and what we can be again.
TOGETHER, WE CAN BUILD A BETTER MAINE

Meet Robert.
A business leader.
A political outsider.
Fighting for Maine families.
I’m a lifelong Republican and a political outsider. I love the American Dream, and I am a staunch supporter of our First and Second Amendment rights. These amendments are the foundation of who we are as America. They allow us as citizens to keep our government in check, and without them America would eventually crumble.
Fixing things won’t be easy, but doing the hard thing today is always better than paying the price tomorrow.
Our government in Augusta is out of control. We need a political outsider that is willing to cut spending, stand up for parents’ rights, protect our girls and take back control of our future.
This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about doing what’s right, even when it’s hard. I’m ready—and I know many of you are too. Now is the time!
Thanks for visiting. Don’t hesitate to reach out.
—Robert Wessels
Candidate for Governor of Maine, 2026

Mainers for Wessels:
In Their Own Words
I am excited to see Robert Wessels stepping up to the challenge of fixing Maine government.
I am excited to see Robert Wessels stepping up to the challenge of fixing Maine government. There are clearly opposing views about what is best for the state, and I disagree with the approach of those in power right now. I have always believed that the least government is the best government. Robert Wessels is a conservative and believes in small government. I support that and I support him in this effort to make change.

Robert believes in small government and will work to allow individuals to thrive without government overreach.
I’m voting for Robert Wessels because he will bring a return to fiscal responsibility to our state. He believes in small government and will work to allow individuals to thrive without government overreach. He will prioritize a return to law and order. He knows the value of strong families and will advocate for policies that will strengthen the family unit. Our state needs change in so many areas, and Robert will work to turn it around.

Robert is not a polished politician, he’s someone who’s worked, raised a family, and lived the reality most of us face every day.
As a working parent trying to balance a job, bills, and raising a family in today’s economy, it often feels like no one in government really understands what we’re up against. That’s why I support Robert Wessels for Governor. He’s not a polished politician—he’s someone who’s worked, raised a family, and lived the reality most of us face every day.
I believe Robert will fight for families like mine by focusing on the issues that actually matter—like lowering taxes, supporting parents' rights in education, and making it easier to make a living here in Maine. He listens. He gets it. And he’ll lead with integrity. We need that now more than ever.

Robert Wessels has gotten to know Mainers and their concerns by bringing himself to Mainers- at their farms, businesses, and communities.
Career politicians are not what Maine needs. Robert Wessels has gotten to know Mainers and their concerns by bringing himself to Mainers- at their farms, businesses, and communities. He actually gives us his policies while other candidates give us rhetoric with no plan. Robert is out there already making a difference with advocating for Voter ID. Wessels for me. Wessels for Maine.

Robert Wessels is not a career politician, but he is a successful businessman who shows great financial responsibility and has explained his positions very clearly.
I am writing in support of Robert Wessels in his bid for Governor of Maine. Robert has worked long and hard in his quest to serve the State of Maine. He has traveled to all corners of the State of Maine for the last 3 years and has met and spoken with 10,000+ Maine citizens.
Many of you have heard him speak or read about him on social media platforms. I have watched Robert’s progress for a number of years, and he has lived and worked. He leads with integrity and commitment to his family, work and friends. His conservative and
Christian values speak for themselves in the way he lives. He is not a career politician, but he is a successful businessman who shows great financial responsibility and has explained his positions very clearly.

I have no doubt that as Maine’s Governor he would operate in the very same ways. I believe he will treat each person or situation with respect and fairness with the people of the State of Maine in mind. Being a strong supporter of local and State government myself, as government is originally intended to be, Robert shares these same values of government and will serve very successfully and fairly as Governor of Maine when elected to that position. Please join with me in supporting Robert Wessels for Governor of the State of Maine.
Respectfully,
Vern Maxfield,
Retired Woodstock Town Manager

Putting People First, Not Politics
Maine’s government is heading down a dangerous path—one marked by growing overreach and shrinking freedoms. From heavy-handed COVID lockdowns to the removal of religious and philosophical vaccine exemptions, chipping away at our 2nd amendment rights and even efforts to mandate what type of vehicle you drive! It’s clear that too many in Augusta have forgotten who they work for.
This is not the government our founders envisioned—and it’s not the future Mainers want. While trust of our government is near an all-time low, it is time for a non-career politician to turn things around.
My approach is simple: shrink government, restore freedom, and bring back common sense. The government should serve the people—not the other way around. It’s time we had leadership that makes decisions based on what's best for the people of Maine, not political trends or outside pressure.
