Medical Freedom

I’m running for governor because I believe in the foundational values of individual liberty, personal responsibility, and limited government—values that have been trampled by the current leadership of our state.

In recent years, we’ve witnessed an unprecedented expansion of government power, often disguised as public health policy. But let’s be clear: regardless of the justification, government overreach is never acceptable.

Take vaccine mandates, for example. I am not anti-vaccine. I chose not to take the COVID vaccine, while some of my family members did. I respect their decision, and as your governor, I will fiercely defend your right to make your own—armed with full, transparent information.

What I oppose, and what I will fight every day to prevent, are government mandates that override your personal autonomy.

When the state forces you to inject something into your body just to keep your job, attend school, or participate in daily life—that’s not public health. That’s coercion. That’s government overreach, plain and simple.

The Constitution doesn’t vanish in a crisis. It exists to protect your rights—especially when fear and power threaten to take them away. Decisions about your health should be made by you, your family, and your doctor—not by politicians or unelected bureaucrats in Augusta or Washington, D.C.

You don’t have to agree with every decision your neighbor makes—but in a free society, we defend their right to make it. That’s what liberty is. That’s what leadership should be.

It’s time to restore common sense, return power to the people, and build a government that trusts its citizens—instead of trying to control them.
